Peaks — Tunnel
Rings of inward-growing scales line a bore that tightens toward a vanishing point, warm rims spiralling into a cold blue core as the tunnel slowly rolls.
The camera stares down a tunnel whose walls are packed with rounded lobes like soft scales, rings receding and tightening toward a distant vanishing point while colour spirals from warm rims into a deep blue core. The bore rolls slowly about its axis, and the far rings dim instead of popping out.
The tunnel is a stack of rings along the view axis; each ring is a circle of spikes that grow inward toward the centre, their lengths set by noise over ring and segment coordinates. A spike is a run of round points drawn base-first so the tip, drawn last, survives the depth test, and deeper rings shrink in radius, spike length, layer count and opacity at once — the funnel, the scale texture and the fade all come from that one recession scheme.
