Peaks — Grid new colors
The teardrop lattice folded into symmetry: mirrored noise indexing makes cells equidistant from the centre match, fanning the spikes into a dark starburst.
The layered teardrop spikes of the grid version, rearranged into a mandala: shading repeats across both axes, the spikes fan symmetrically about the centre, and the palette sits in a dark, lacquered register instead of full confetti.
The symmetry is done in the noise indexing. The spatial inputs are muted and each cell's row and column index is folded through a triangular ramp — rising to the grid's middle, falling back — before it reaches the Perlin lookup, so cells at equal distance from the centre feed it the same value and receive the same colour; the mirroring is that fold, not a composed layout. The series' three-axis rocking is switched off by default, leaving a still figure built purely from the depth stacking.
