Noise grid v3 — Basic with holes
A patchwork of solid dots and open rings cut from one noise field: each cell's angle sets its offset, its size, and which of the two kinds it becomes.
The grid splits into two populations: heavy filled dots that mass into red continents, and thin yellow-outlined rings pooling in the dark hollows between them. As the field scrolls, territory changes hands — patches of solid colour dissolve into rings and re-solidify elsewhere.
Each cell samples a single Perlin angle that does all the work: its sine and cosine displace the mark off the cell centre, and the same value sets diameter, opacity and hue. The split is a threshold against a running maximum of every angle seen so far — cells above it stamp a filled point in one palette, cells below draw only the hollow outline of the same circle in another, which is what punches the holes into the otherwise basic grid.
