L'intonation juste enfin trouvée : positions et expressivité. The site carries Nabih Gédéon's theory of musical intervals — the natural semitone at 22/21, and what it implies for positions and expressivity on a string.
The design brief was longevity over convenience. No proprietary CMS, no vendor lock: files, HTML and CSS, and a deploy anyone can reproduce. Astro builds it static, a GitHub Actions workflow publishes to Pages, and a Docker image with Nginx covers self-hosting the same output.
Three entrances
- Littérature — the works, summaries and translations that grew around the theory.
- Théorie — the natural semitone, the positions, the expressivity.
- Player interactif — an audiovisual listen, to feel the theory rather than read it.
Home and Biography are written; the three sections stand as "en préparation" pages waiting for their pieces. Everything is translated — French by default, with English and Italian alongside it — through Astro's i18n routing and a shared dictionary.
