Trace vectors v16 — Changing direction
Traced numerals shuttle around the grid forwards then backwards, strands blushing red at full tilt; a rail along the bottom plots the direction.
A curtain of fine pink, cream and blue strands pours across one corner of a numbered grid, its dotted itinerary hanging below; along the bottom edge a small gauge — crosses on a dotted rail — tracks a value sliding left and right.
The clock is an accumulator whose increment swings between positive and negative on an elastic-eased sine, so the trace runs the cell path forward, brakes, and rewinds — the elastic easing adds a wobble at each reversal. Stroke colour lerps toward pure red in proportion to the current speed in either direction, cooling back at every turnaround, and the gauge plots that same signed value.
