Animated text points v12 — Counter
Digits count up as walls of glassy coloured bars on black, while thin white curtain lines drift behind and multiply in step with the count.
A giant digit stands mid-frame, mosaicked out of translucent boxes whose edges glow in reds, blues and violets with occasional yellow flashes. The figure keeps counting through 0–9; behind it a set of hairline white verticals sways, and their number counts along with the digit, each new line fading in rather than popping into place.
Every digit is sampled into outline points and turned into a per-cell brightness field — a distance falloff cached per character — and each lit cell extrudes a box toward the viewer with a slight individual tilt. Hue comes from a noise field scrolled over the grid, and the background line count is eased fractionally between integers, deliberately allowed to sit between two values so the counter's transitions slide instead of ticking.
