Arithmetic glyphs dissolve into bobbing candy spheres on a tilted plane, each row riding its own phase of a wave toward and away from the camera.
On a plane tilted back like a table, a glyph from a little equation — digits, plus, equals, question marks — is mobbed by shaded spheres, solid discs and thin rings in saturated reds, cyans, purples and yellows. Rows surge toward the viewer and sink back in sequence while the whole table swings slowly left and right.
Every grid cell inside the glyph's cached distance field draws either a sphere or a flat circle, chosen by a per-cell noise value that reshuffles as time passes. The bobbing is a z-translation driven by a sine with a per-row phase offset, and the spheres ride it five times faster than the circles — which is why the two populations never move in sync.
