Text morphing — Depth clock
Digits count around the frame as dotted rainbow bursts, every depth layer sampling the travel path at its own lag so each move smears into a comet.
Digits morph one into the next while the whole formation travels between anchor points around the frame, an abstract clock counting its stations. Each figure is a crisp fat-stroke core wrapped in an expanding spray of rainbow dots — the compound-scaled depth layers of the sibling sketches.
The clock difference is a per-layer time shift: every depth layer samples the anchor path at its own offset, so during a move the stack stretches along the trajectory into a comet — diffuse halo at one end, crisp digit at the other — and snaps back together at each station under an elastic ease. The glyphs themselves are outline point lists interpolated pointwise, digits by default, with hue drawn from noise over dot position and depth.
