Animated text points v3 — Glitch
Characters burst into a mosaic of neon outlines — rings and deep prisms splayed from the vanishing point — with stray cells cutting in and out.
Each character of a junk string — hash, asterisk, letters, digits — gets a frame as a field of small shapes: flat neon rings and boxes whose long sides splay outward with the perspective. Colours run around the spectrum continuously, and around the glyph stray outlined cells appear and vanish in streaks, like a signal dropping.
The dropout is the glitch: two noise reads per cell, one keyed on its x and one on its y, gate whether an empty cell may render at all, and their drift over time wipes those extras in and out in rows and columns. Cells inside the glyph read brightness from a cached distance field per character, and the sway its siblings have is switched off here — the depth illusion is nothing but fixed boxes seen in perspective.
