Animated text points v7 — Normal material
A pixelated letter fires immensely deep prisms away from the camera, faces coloured purely by orientation: magenta fronts, blue and green flanks.
The current letter of an alphabet run stands as a mosaic of square tiles, and behind every tile a prism recedes so far it converges near the vanishing point, filling half the frame with blue and green flanks. Scattered cells skip the prism for a flat cross. As the scene slowly swings, the face colours slide with it.
There is no palette here: the boxes use a material that maps each face's normal direction to a colour, so hue is geometry — turn the scene and the colours must follow. A per-cell noise draw decides cross or prism every frame, and each character of the run has its own cached outline-distance field that lights the grid when its turn comes.
