Braid⁶

Rope, worked out properly. It starts with strands interlacing as they cross a fixed braiding front and scroll away already tied, then a loom, then European 4-in-1 chainmail assembling itself row by row. It ends where it was heading all along: a Turk's head knot woven around a ring you can bend by dragging its centreline.

A plain-weave mesh of iridescent wires, straight below the weaving line and crimped over-under above it, on black.

Dense chainmail of interlocking iridescent rings filling the frame, each row tilted against the next, on black.
