Braid v5 — Turk's head
The nautical knot the braids were heading for: rope woven over-under around a ring, in the diagonal basket weave of a real Turk's head collar.
A closed object like the grommet before it, so again the loop is pure rotation. What is new is the weave itself — the diagonal over-under lattice that makes a Turk's head read as tied rather than as a bundle of tubes sharing a path.
Raymarched like the rest of the family: the over-under is a property of the distance field, which is the only reason a knot this dense is affordable per pixel.
