Braid v4 — Torus knot
The family's first closed knot — a cable-laid rope grommet, a finite object rather than an infinite feed.
Where v1 to v3 push an endless braid through a fixed front, this is a finished sculptural object: a nautical grommet, laid the way rope actually is, strand over strand around the ring.
Being closed makes the loop free. There is no phase bookkeeping to make the last frame meet the first — the animation is pure rotation, so it is seamless at any duration.
