Animated text points v12 — More warping
A letter built of extruded blocks shears under travelling waves, each block coloured by which way it faces — blue fronts, green tops, red flanks.
Letters of a word take turns on screen as a slab of square pegs, every peg a deep box. Waves of rotation roll through the grid so rows fan open and columns twist, and because each box is shaded by its surface orientation the wave reads as colour: faces flip from blue to green to red as they turn, with thin spectral edges between.
Two sinusoidal rotation layers travel across the cells with separate row and column phases and can stack — one linear, one eased — which is what this version adds over its sibling: a second warp riding on the first. The letter mask itself is a cached distance field per character, so advancing through the word costs a lookup rather than a resample.
