Video — Text
Footage plays inside sharp letterforms: the clips are composited full-frame, optionally blurred, then masked by a word painted as fill or outline.
A short phrase in fat rounded letters fills the frame, and video plays inside the letterforms — greens and blues washing through one word, pinks through another, against black. The glyph edges stay razor sharp while the footage inside them drifts.
The clips are composited full-canvas into one buffer, optionally blurred, while the text is painted opaque into a second — filled or outline-only, and invertible so the footage can play around the letters instead. Masking the video layer with the text buffer does the rest: the type is a window, and a sharp mask over softened footage is what keeps the edges crisp.
