The anchor path visits a fixed subset of cells, each of the five morph stages following at a lag so the ribbons stretch across the route. On top of the loop clock, a global accumulator advances by a stepped schedule of speeds — two zeros, then two small increments — eased with a back-ease: the whole trace freezes, then lurches forward, which is this version's addition over the steady movers in the family. The tight banding comes from a high hue multiplier on the cycling palette.
