Torsade v8 — Chain
Four twisted ropes scroll across the frame, each rendered a different way — tapering blades, lens-shaped links, fat interlocking chain.
Four horizontal ropes cross the frame, and no two are drawn alike: one tapers into twisted blades, one into lens-shaped beads, one is a run of constant fat links, one a doubled wobble. All of them scroll their twist along the row, alternating direction from one rope to the next.
Underneath they share one helix: discs stamped along a line with a phase that runs on time, the sideways and vertical offsets fed the same sine so the coil flattens into a ribbon seen edge-on. What differs per row is only the stamping rule — how the disc's size responds to the twist angle and which mirrored copies get drawn — a small catalogue of link styles cycling across the rows.
