Torsade v9 — Dna spiral
A double helix runs down the middle of the frame, winding tight, unwinding to two parallel strands and rewinding the other way.
Two strands wrap around each other down the centre of the frame, reading as a stylised double helix with a gradient running its length. The pair winds up, slackens until the strands lie straight and parallel, then rewinds in the opposite sense — the whole helix breathing as one.
As in the earlier unmelted twist, every step stamps two flat discs at mirrored offsets around a vertical line. The difference is where the winding rate lives: here it is a single sine of time applied uniformly along the strand, so instead of a twist-wave travelling through the rope, the entire helix tightens and releases in unison, swinging between a right-handed and a left-handed coil.
