Pulse v3 — Asterix
Seven dark petals throb around a hub, each hiding a bright comet core — a pulse of light that travels outward through the nested layers.
Seven shadowed lobes swell and shrink around a common hub, and inside each one a bright comet core flares as the pulse passes through. The shapes barely move; it is the brightness that travels, rolling from hub to rim in waves.
This version strips the drift and spin away: nothing translates, nothing rotates, and the only motion left is a radius oscillation whose phase shifts along the stroke stack, so the pulse reads as travelling outward through nested layers. Colour comes from sine and cosine waves offset per spoke, giving each petal its own slice of the wheel.
