Torsade v3 — Leaping over
Broad ribbons of colour arc across the frame and take turns vaulting over one another as their shared wave swells and collapses.
A few broad ribbons of near-solid colour arc side by side, each holding its own slice of the spectrum. As their shared wave swells they whip outward and vault over one another, then fall back into a loose parallel fan.
Every ribbon is a single chain of large discs along a line, bent by barely a fraction of a full wave — which is why they read as arcs rather than coils. The leap comes from the amplitude: both the wave's multiplier and its base size ride the same slow sine, so the sideways throw grows several-fold at the peak, and a per-ribbon phase offset makes them take off in sequence instead of together.
