Spline text v0 — Scribe
One continuous neon line drifts as a loose scribble, then gathers onto the outline of a word and writes it — letter by letter or all at once — before letting go again.
A single spline of a few dozen control points wanders the canvas as a drifting scribble, then pulls itself onto a word: each control point slides from its random anchor to a point sampled along the glyph outlines, holds while the word reads, and releases back into the cloud. In progressive mode the gathering is staggered by each target's horizontal position, so the word writes itself left to right like handwriting.
The targets come from sampling the font's outlines into an ordered point list, resampled to exactly the spline's point count so the letter order survives the morph. Away from the word the full curve would read as spaghetti, so most control points collapse onto the chord between two structural neighbours while travelling and ease back to their true outline position as the word assembles; the random anchors drift on a seamless noise loop, so the end of the dissolve matches the start of the next pass.
