Letter trace v2 — Current
One pen traces the word while the world rotates around it, so the outline always streams toward the top of the screen — driving through the letter, not watching it.
A pen follows the word's outlines as in the scribe view, but the camera does more than track: it rotates the whole canvas so the direction of travel always points along one fixed screen vector. The pen appears to sit still on an anchor low in the frame while the glyph streams and banks past it like a road; at the end the view un-rotates and pulls back to the upright word before the loop fades out.
The contours of all letters are chained onto a single timeline with short pen-lift gaps between them. Each frame samples the pen's position and its tangent heading from the arc-length-resampled outline, and the world is turned by the difference between that heading and the desired direction, plus a little banking taken from how fast the heading is changing. A faint ghost of the not-yet-travelled outline keeps the larger letterform legible while the bright stroke catches up.
