Ribbons v4 — Petals
Petals fold out of a single rotating stroke: the bloom breathes open, retracts, and re-splits into a different petal count.
A compact bloom sits at the centre of a faintly drifting grid, its lobes glossy, cyan at the tips and hot at the heart. It breathes: petals fold out, retract to almost nothing, and reappear split into a different count.
No petal geometry exists — every stamp is placed at the origin and only the accumulated rotation fans it into lobes. The arc's starting point rides a cosine, so the figure literally draws less or more of itself each cycle, while the petal divisor and the fan step are both read from short preset cycles, re-folding the bloom into new symmetries as the indices advance.
