Ribbons v11
Bead chains climb through symmetries one fold at a time, each chain breathing its own brightness inside a tunnel of rays.
Chains of dark beads reach out from the centre of a ray tunnel, their glow cores flashing green, red, blue and yellow. New chains do not snap into place: an extra arm materialises over long seconds, one fold at a time.
The fold count crawls up a preset ladder with an extremely slow blend, so symmetry changes are gradual growths rather than cuts. Brightness is computed per arm rather than per bloom, letting one chain burn while its neighbour goes almost black, and the low-resolution blur buffer keeps smearing each frame into the next.
