Noise strips v3 — Lava
The strip field cools into lava: blue ridges snake over molten orange, marbled by a second noise that decides how much spectrum each patch may use.
Thick dotted bands melt into a full-frame crust: dark blue ridges wander over glowing orange and magenta hollows while the whole surface creeps slowly sideways. No background is left between the rows — the strips overlap into a continuous relief that reads through colour and the beads of dots along each ridge line.
The skeleton is the family's noise-angle displacement: every dot of a rows-by-columns grid offsets itself by the sine and cosine of a Perlin-derived angle, taking weight and hue from the fold. The marbling comes from a second, spatial noise field that picks a hue-range multiplier per dot from a short list, so neighbouring patches map the same fold onto different slices of the palette; the global drift offsets also step through preset values, which keeps the flow lurching instead of uniform.
