Hand tracking v8 — Growing
Glossy rainbow-cored ribbons stack into combed, drifting waves — the hand's entire past aged by one buffer copy per frame while only the live pose draws fresh.
The tracked fingers render as glossy splines with a white-hot spectral core, and their history piles up behind them in tight, evenly spaced layers — drifting toward an edge, or swelling outward and darkening — until the frame fills with combed iridescent waves.
The discrete onion-skin of the previous version is replaced by canvas feedback: a persistent buffer is aged once per frame with a single self-copy — multiplied by a decay factor and translated or scaled by the chosen effect — then the live hand, Chaikin-smoothed and glowed in one instanced GPU pass, is stamped in at full brightness. Trail cost no longer depends on trail length, which is why the echoes can be this dense.
