Hand tracking v2 — Repulse
The inverse pull: inside a set radius every ball is shoved away from the tracked fingers, so the hand ploughs a clearing and the crowd piles up in the corners.
Wherever the rainbow hand goes, the crowd flees: balls inside its reach scatter to the walls and pile up in the corners, leaving a clean halo around each finger. Lower the hand and the exiles only slowly drift back toward the middle.
It is the attract sibling with the force reversed and gated by distance — every ball within a cutoff radius gets a push along the line away from the tracked point, clamped so close encounters stay stable. Static walls plus a hard containment pass keep the fleeing bodies on screen, which is exactly why they end up stacked along the edges.
