Hand tracking v7 — Echo
A hand that haunts itself: recent poses replay beneath the live one at climbing opacity, so each gesture drags a chorus of dimmer hands behind it.
On a dark ground the neon hand appears many times at once: the brightest copy is now, and behind it a queue of translucent ghosts holds the poses of the last few moments, so a flick of the fingers fans out into overlapping trails.
Every few frames the current tracked point-chains are snapshotted into a short history; each frame the whole history is redrawn oldest-to-newest with opacity climbing toward the live hand, which draws last at full strength. Every ghost is a complete re-stroke of the neon ribbon renderer, so cost grows with the queue — the follow-up version swaps this for a feedback buffer to escape that limit.
