Churros v5 — Serpent
Broad ribbons drape and fold like poured silk, red faces against teal backs, with waves riding through the folds without ever tearing them.
This one trades the tube for cloth: wide ribbons cascade in overlapping folds, red-orange on one face, teal-cyan on the other, with bright creases where they turn. The sheet ripples continuously — waves travel across it, folds deepen and slacken — and the stamps' fan count swells and thins with the clock, so edges feather and re-solidify.
Underneath it is still a stamped strand crossing the frame, but its vertical wave is compound: the amplitude of the path's sine is itself modulated along the strand, so the line snakes irregularly instead of tracing a clean sinusoid. The stamps are long and very heavy, and each fans across a half-turn — neighbouring fans merge into surfaces, which is what turns a line walk into drapery.
