Churros v4 — Line
A braided column of colour twists down the middle of a grid, pinching to threads and blooming open, green at the top through red to blue below.
The strand runs straight down the centre like a plaited cord: leaf-green and yellow at the top, red and violet through the middle, blue at the base, ending in a small dark tuft. At regular intervals it cinches to almost nothing, and the fat sections between the pinches twist like wrung fabric.
Placement is the simplest in the family — stamps just descend a vertical line — so all the drama is in the stamp: a fan of thick lines whose reach is a sine of both position and time, which is what breathes the column wide and chokes it shut in travelling knots. Colour phase runs along the column at its own speed, so the bands slide through the pinches rather than sticking to them.
