Churros v1 — Circle
A rainbow ring drawn like one continuous piped stroke, ends left ragged where the circle doesn't quite close, with highlights chasing around it.
The full hue wheel is bent into a ring: red at the top running through violet, blue, cyan and green back toward orange. The stroke looks piped — a glossy tube with highlights that travel — and the ring is deliberately left open at the bottom, its two frayed ends almost meeting. The whole figure turns while the colours slide along it.
Every step around an ellipse stamps a small pinwheel of three thick line segments, rotated by the loop clock plus the step's angle, and hundreds of overlapping stamps fuse into the tube. The sheen is an opacity wave: a sine keyed on angle and time divides each stamp's colour, sweeping bright bands around the ring, and the RGB channels are three phase-shifted sines of that same angle — the rainbow is computed, not picked.
