Shader loops v1 — Hypnotic
Ambient wallpaper built to be provably seamless: a zoom tunnel, a kaleidoscope and a moiré field sharing one fragment shader.
Three looks live in one shader, picked by a parameter — an infinite log-polar tunnel falling forever inward, an N-fold kaleidoscope mandala breathing out from the centre, and two interfering ring fields sliding through each other.
The seamlessness is structural, not tuned by eye. Everything animates off the loop phase, and every time-varying term advances a whole number of cycles across the loop — a sine whose argument moves by an integer number of turns returns exactly to where it started, so the last frame meets the first with no jump at any duration. The colour cycle works the same way: the hue offset is the phase times a whole number, so the spectrum scrolls and lands back on its starting hue.
