Censored v9 — Wave

A word's outline, sampled to glowing dots, echoes back into depth while a travelling sine wave drags a coarse mosaic veil over the lower frame.

A word rendered as a cloud of coloured points morphs one letter into the next, while dozens of progressively larger, dimmer copies recede behind it toward a vanishing point, hues sliding around the spectrum as they go. A thin pale sine curve sweeps across the canvas, and everything below it is replaced by a chunky pixel mosaic — the series' censor bar bent into a wave.

The letters come from sampling font outlines into points and easing every point toward its counterpart in the next character, so one glyph melts into another instead of cutting. Sixty copies of the cloud are redrawn at increasing depth offsets with exponential spread to build the tunnel, and each point's hue is read from noise over its position and the loop clock. The mosaic is no shader: the same frame is drawn into a buffer at a fraction of the resolution, and a mask bounded by the animated wave decides where the coarse copy covers the sharp one.
