Photo — Grid with blurry photo as background
A steady grid of small prints floats over a full-bleed backdrop — one of the same photos blurred and posterized, changing as the loop runs.
The tiled layout stays put: photographs fitted into even cells with thin margins, repeating when the set runs short. Behind them the backdrop keeps changing — one photo at a time laid edge to edge and smeared past recognition, so the cells seem to hover on a wash of their own colours.
Each frame the backdrop is redrawn from whichever photo the loop clock has reached, then run through a strong blur followed by a posterize pass, which flattens the smear into the banded, paint-by-numbers fields visible between the tiles. The grid is drawn cell by cell afterwards, untouched by either filter.
