Letter trace v0 — Scribe
A pen dot travels the outline of each letter in turn while the camera rides the tip, then pulls back to reveal the word it has been writing.
The view opens tight on a letterform with a white dot crawling along its outline, laying down a coloured stroke as it goes — or riding a line that is already there, camera-only. The tip stays pinned near the centre of the screen, so the letter slides past like terrain; when the last outline closes, the view eases back to frame the whole word, holds, and dissolves so the loop restarts on an empty canvas.
Each glyph is sampled into its closed contours with textToPoints, and every contour is re-spaced to even arc-length steps, so a single normalised clock can walk the pen across the concatenated outlines at constant speed regardless of letter complexity. The pen's current sample doubles as the camera target, and one assemble-hold-dissolve envelope drives the writing, the pull-back and the fade, which is what makes the loop seamless.
