Animated text points v1 — Grid
A lavender halftone glyph on black: a fixed lattice of dots where only brightness moves, lighting the cells nearest the current letter's outline.
A letterform appears as a dot matrix — hundreds of small lavender circles, bright where the glyph's strokes pass and dimming to near-black at their edges. Every couple of beats the displayed character snaps to the next one in the word; the lattice itself never moves, only each dot's opacity is redealt.
Each letter is sampled into outline points once, and every grid cell takes an alpha from its distance to the nearest point — a falloff field accelerated with a spatial hash and cached per letter, so the frame loop just reads brightness values. The colour is deliberately flat: with one fixed tint the piece reads as pure halftone, where its siblings reach for the spectrum.
