Kinetic — Letters
Letters strewn across a paper field sit small and still until a pointer nears — then each glyph balloons by proximity, piling into a knot of ink under the cursor.
The characters of a phrase are scattered at random positions on a paper-coloured canvas and simply wait there, small and evenly weighted. As a pointer wanders in — mouse, touch, or a tracked hand — nearby glyphs swell smoothly with proximity until the closest ones overlap into a heavy black cluster; move away and they deflate back to their resting size.
Each letter keeps only a fixed position and its character. Every frame it measures the distance to the nearest influence point, clamps it to a 0-to-1 proximity, and eases its type size (and, optionally, a half-turn of rotation) between a minimum and a maximum. The letters draw on their own offscreen buffer so the per-glyph transforms stay isolated, and all enabled input sources merge into one flat list of points, so several fingers or hands can inflate different corners of the field at once.
