Caught mid-detonation — the rods spelling a numeral fling out to random points in space with an elastic snap, then thread back as the wave recedes.

The digit is drawn in long square rods that refuse to stay put: a travelling wave sends each one streaking off toward its own point in space, so one end of the numeral stays legible while the other is shrapnel. On the pale ground the flying rods read like a box of pencils mid-explosion.

Each cell of the glyph mask is assigned one random 3D scatter point, fixed for the whole loop; the wave phase eases the rod between home and that point with an elastic snap, fading its fill on the way out, and the same phase drives the tumble so departure and spin stay locked together. Where the sibling versions rotate cells in place, this one lets them travel — the glyph genuinely disassembles and re-threads.
