A wave un-solidifies this digit as it passes: box faces drain to transparency and leave rainbow wireframe cages whose edges pile into fine moiré.
This digit un-solidifies wherever the wave is passing: box faces go transparent while their edges keep full ink, so whole regions become stacked wire cages whose lines interleave into delicate cross-hatching. In the radial mode the sweep curls through the glyph's lower bowl like a spiral staircase of empty frames.
It runs the same wave machinery as its sibling — per-cell phase from direction, centre distance or cursor distance plus the loop clock — but here the phase eases fill alpha from opaque to zero and can flatten the extrusion depth too, while strokes never fade. That fill/stroke split is the whole look: the digit is constantly draining to wireframe and refilling behind the wave.
