Ribbons v2 — Circle
Riding an unseen ellipse, a dark violet band twists like a Möbius strip while concentric rings ripple outward through the backdrop.
A dark violet band corkscrews around an unseen oval, its shading turning it into a strip of satin seen edge-on and face-on by turns. Behind it, concentric circles ripple endlessly outward, growing heavier as they widen.
The stamp path is an ellipse, wider than it is tall, whose horizontal term is additionally scaled by a travelling cosine — that extra fold is what crosses the band over itself into the helix. The backdrop is drawn as rings whose diameter grows with time and wraps around, an infinite outward march; the ribbon keeps its stamped-point construction and cycling sheen.
