Ribbons v1 — Invisible walls purple
A satin ribbon coils inside unseen bounds, flattening wherever its spiral path presses against the frame's clamped edges.
A wide violet band coils over a nest of breathing rounded rectangles, shaded so it reads as satin twisting in space. Wherever its path reaches the edge of the frame it does not exit: it squashes flat and runs along the border before folding back in.
The path is a widening spiral, but every position along it is clamped to the canvas minus a margin — those clamps are the invisible walls, and the flattened runs are the spiral pressing against them. The band itself is stamped from giant round stroke points that rotate as they advance, with a travelling brightness cycle standing in for light on the twist; this variant fixes the ink to a purple-blue ramp.
