Pulse v1 — Guts
A knot of glowing rainbow tubes writhing inside a dark, fleshy cloud — hundreds of stacked dots whose spoke count keeps changing mid-stack.
A murky, lobed mass hangs in the dark with a bright cord coiled at its heart, curling and uncurling like innards while its colours slide around the spectrum. The outer cloud stays dim and fleshy; only the newest, thinnest strokes burn.
Each frame stacks hundreds of passes of a few fat round dots placed on a circle, strokes starting heavy and dark and ending thin and bright, with a small drift accumulating between passes that bends the pile into tubes. The number of dots per circle is itself remapped from a sine on every pass, so inner layers disagree with outer ones about how many spokes exist — that disagreement is the tangle. First of the family, it sets the recipe every later version varies.
