Photo — Balloons
Circular windows drift on slow looping orbits over hidden photographs, joined by threads that darken as the windows pull apart.
On plain ground a few soft circles wander the frame, each revealing a piece of a different photograph that never moves — the circle is the hole, the picture the wall behind it. Thin lines tie the circles together and grow more present the further apart they drift, so the group reads as balloons on stretching strings.
Every circle follows its own sine/cosine orbit, phase-shifted by its index so the flock never bunches, while the orbits' width and height breathe between a tight core and the full frame over the loop. The reveals are erased-and-repainted masks — one buffer holds the photo laid edge to edge, another the white circle — so nothing is cropped in advance and each balloon can roam over its whole image.
