Text — Mask with noise strips
Giant glyphs filled with streaky colour: a field of huge noise-driven points paints the whole canvas, then centred text masks everything but the characters.
Huge glyphs fill the frame, and inside them run ragged horizontal strips of colour — cool blues in one character, embers in the next — over plain black. The strips creep and shear sideways as the noise field underneath them drifts.
The whole canvas is first painted with a dense grid of very fat points, their offset, weight and opacity each driven by separate noise lookups so they smear into torn bands rather than reading as dots. That field is then masked by the text drawn into an offscreen buffer at near-canvas size: the strips exist everywhere, but only the glyphs let them show.
