Rings v9 — Flick reveal
Same script, different delivery: the cursor stretches a point like an elastic, lets go, and the point crosses the canvas on its own.
v8's cursors chauffeured every point to its destination. Here a cursor grabs a point, stretches it — by default all the way to the canvas edge, opposite where the point needs to go — and releases. From the release the point crosses on its own and settles onto its spot in the next text with an elastic spring, while the cursor is already off plucking the next one.
The next word is revealed by ricochet: several points in the air at once, each arriving under its own momentum. The spring is an easing curve like any other, so the whole feel of the piece is one parameter.
