Pulse v7 — Turbine
A six-bladed pinwheel turns in violet dusk, yellow light leaking from the hub where all the blades thin out and meet.
Six swept blades ride around a hub in half-lit violet and umber, and a yellow star burns at the centre where they join. The wheel rocks back and forth rather than spinning free.
Three diameters cross at the centre, and each of the hundreds of passes draws them slightly smaller, brighter and rocked a little further, so the blades come out as smeared, shaded scoops with the thin stroke-ends piling into the glowing core. This is the root of the turbine sub-family; the variants bend its blade count, rhythm and drift.
