Photo trail v2 — Echo

Ghost copies of the segmented subject trail along a draggable curve, each one fainter, smaller and further behind, while the original stays crisp in front.

An ibis bends to feed while a fan of its own ghosts arcs overhead: the segmented bird stamped again and again along a curve, each copy fainter, smaller, optionally rotated and tinted, until the trail tails off. The real subject stays crisp on top, the photo behind can stay sharp, blur or dim, and an anchor plus two guide handles drag the trail's path around.

Where the ribbon sibling smears pixels, this version re-uses the cut-out itself: the subject image is stamped at sampled positions along the spine, far copies drawn first so near ones stack over them, and the tint is applied with a source-atop fill so only the subject's own pixels take the colour. A travel setting marches the ghosts along the path a whole number of cycles per loop, fading them in at the subject and out at the tail so a copy wrapping back to the start never pops — which is what keeps the exported clip seamless.
